"Story behind the shot"
When we saw this necklace shimmering with all colors, from fiery red to sky-blue, I (the photographer) and the stylist simultaneously came an image inspired by China. Expressive dragons, amazing fireworks, emperors with their favorite jade of different shades. And we decided to capture this picture in a series of photos. We wanted to work in a warm friendly company, so we called our girlfriend as a make-up artist. She immediately got our idea and agreed to help us. And the model is also our friend, a very nice girl. We found a jade-colored fabric flows the body, the make-up artist made a bright eye make-up, echoing the necklace. We shot thr photos in the park, next to us a noisy merry company had rested and roasted meat, with songs. But that did not stop us, on the contrary, gave the sharpness to what is happening. They were very kind, drove the passers-by from us, shouted that they did not interfere with our work . With these photos we wanted to give a reference to Chinese culture, but not an obvious, but only an light hint. An interpretation in modern realities. And we like the result.
