My work process consists of two main methods of operation: a well-planned photograph that serves a precise pre-defined purpose - a product of a workflow consisting of learning and researching of the photographed subject and the other elements of the work; and a photograph that is born out of an initial idea or concept that has not been fully defined and develops in the process.
In my photographs, I try to express a sense of restraint and postponement. I am searching for something intimate and introverted in my photographed subjects on the one hand, and inner strength and quiet charisma on the other.
The manner of directing, the forms and the colors in my photographs draw inspiration from the aesthetics found in nature, in mammals and in birds. I often researches species of exotic plants and wildlife and translates elements that characterize them into my work.

As a practicing physician specializing in neurology, immunology, and holistic medicine, Prof. Dr. med. Urs Pohlman, the founder and developer of Anane premium natural Skincare, advocates for an integrative healing approach. He emphasizes the importance of the skin in this method, as it uniquely reveals energetic imbalances, nutritional deficiencies, and hidden illnesses.
Dr. Pohlman has observed a rise in skin issues that traditional clinical diagnoses do not address. There is an increasing prevalence of weakened immune systems, bacterial, and fungal infections. Often, these conditions are side effects of using inappropriate cosmetics, which can disturb the skin's balance and cause irritation.
In contrast to conventional cosmetics, the medical perspective on aging involves understanding the balance between daily energy expenditure and the rest required for rejuvenation. "Anti-aging" is about enhancing the body's natural regenerative abilities to ensure optimal functioning.
Through years of patient interaction and extensive research at the University Hospital Basel and Duke University Medical Center, Dr. Pohlman acquired interdisciplinary knowledge about the body's complex regeneration processes. He utilized this expertise to create highly effective formulations.
His company, ananné, is dedicated to the responsible use of resources, ethical treatment of employees, and fair trade practices. Dr. Pohlman and his team are committed to making a positive impact on the world.
"We strive to optimize our processes," he explains. "Whether it’s through energy-efficient practices, recyclable packaging, or sourcing fair trade products, we aim to reduce our ecological footprint and conserve energy for everyone involved. I find joy in problem-solving as both a doctor and entrepreneur."
