Ever since I was young I had a strong attraction to everything that is visual. Castles and museums were the places that they preferred to visit during the holidays. In those moments I could find a balance with myself and a strong inner peace. I imagine what I saw and dreamed about the endless lives that had intersected those places and those objects.
Since then the sea has always been a highly evocative component; An element that has given me a sense of freedom and reassures me.
Then draw and paint but not so write. When I was attending the art school I wanted to be a cartoonist, and I used to take the camera with me to every concert I would have taken in the street. I soon realized it was a great way to meet and create a bond with interesting people.
For a long time I mainly deal with fashion, but personal research and works with art more and more time now.
Everything that is visual influences me particularly. in addition to countless exhibitions around the world, I am very interested in cinema and music, which always has an important role in my creative process. I recently collaborated with a Dutch artist who made an installation at the 70th Locarno Film Festival, and let me photograph in his installation for my project that I will present next year.
I also find inspiration from the people I meet while I'm around - I build stories around them. Casting is a crucial moment in my work.
I tend to look at documentary photographers a lot to find inspiration, even if I like to be inspired by paintings, cinema, other photographers and artists.
The search for a muse is a fundamental component of my creative process; it is not a purely aesthetic factor, but rather an emotional facet that makes me fall in love with my subject.

About Ananne:

As a practicing physician specializing in neurology, immunology, and holistic medicine, Prof. Dr. med. Urs Pohlman, the founder and developer of Anane premium natural Skincare, advocates for an integrative healing approach. He emphasizes the importance of the skin in this method, as it uniquely reveals energetic imbalances, nutritional deficiencies, and hidden illnesses.

Dr. Pohlman has observed a rise in skin issues that traditional clinical diagnoses do not address. There is an increasing prevalence of weakened immune systems, bacterial, and fungal infections. Often, these conditions are side effects of using inappropriate cosmetics, which can disturb the skin's balance and cause irritation.

In contrast to conventional cosmetics, the medical perspective on aging involves understanding the balance between daily energy expenditure and the rest required for rejuvenation. "Anti-aging" is about enhancing the body's natural regenerative abilities to ensure optimal functioning.

Through years of patient interaction and extensive research at the University Hospital Basel and Duke University Medical Center, Dr. Pohlman acquired interdisciplinary knowledge about the body's complex regeneration processes. He utilized this expertise to create highly effective formulations.

His company, ananné, is dedicated to the responsible use of resources, ethical treatment of employees, and fair trade practices. Dr. Pohlman and his team are committed to making a positive impact on the world.

"We strive to optimize our processes," he explains. "Whether it’s through energy-efficient practices, recyclable packaging, or sourcing fair trade products, we aim to reduce our ecological footprint and conserve energy for everyone involved. I find joy in problem-solving as both a doctor and entrepreneur."
